bfletch7441
WOW, will you call my wife and tell her what you're doing? Maybe it'll rub off on her and she'll send me somewhere. I have no idea about High Pine Lodge, but he's gonna love his christmas gift. Ben

Tominator
Re: Christmas shopping for my husband- please help! Awesome! I think there was a huge deer shot there 2 years ago. Seems to me, that guy had to pay a huge trophy fee. You might want to check into that. Then again, I might be thinking of another Georgia facility. texastrophies
Re: Christmas shopping for my husband- please help! There were a few of us that went to High Pine Lodge for a hunt in Jan. of 2004. We ended up not having any luck during the hunt, but I believe that was mainly due to the temps being down right hot (in January) and also as luck would have it we had a full moon. As far as the lodge, accomidations, meals, etc. you won't find a better place. The meals were delicious, with plenty to eat, the setting of the lodge looks like it came out of a picture book. Randy with HPL did everything he could to try and put us on some deer, they just would not cooperate. He had us in so many different hunting locations and stands that looked absolutely great. I couldn't pull up a picture of it, but Scott had sent us a pic of a 180 class buck that had been killed about 3 miles from HPL in Dec. of 2003. My suggestion would be to get with Randy as for the time to schedule the hunt and take his advice on that, he will know what will be best. Good luck to your husband and a great big THANK YOU from all of us guys. We need more women like you.
double_drop
Re: Christmas shopping for my husband- please help! I guess it would be fun to go on a deer hunting trip like that if i didn't live in the state where some of the biggest bucks come out of. Still sounds like a winner to me. Great gift.
