Squirrelhunter91
Deer cannot see hunter orange. It is a proven fact through some sort of science or something. Deer tend to have some sort of 6th sense. It's wierd, but it helps them survive.
Shaun_300
Re: can deer see hunter orange??? Nope, deer are basically colour blind, it doesn't matter if you're in full camo, or all in hunter orange, they can't really tell the difference. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: can deer see hunter orange??? I would suggest everyone reread the latest findings on this topic. Research by the University of Georgia, University of California and the Medical College of Wisconsin indicates that deer see primarily in shades of green and blue. Researchers believe that deer probably see flourescent orange as lime green. Additionally, deer may be more UV sensitive than originally thought, especially in low light conditions like dawn and dusk.

Guest lovinbowhuntin247365
Re: can deer see hunter orange??? i know about that article too, most of the things that deer see are dark greens and blues ... but normal colthing washes give off a UV light that the deer can pick out very well, or something like that ... if you wash the clothes you would be hunting in with a special UV elimination wash, that should cut down on the deer spotting you ... it works well for me, ive never been busted because of sight ... but yes, camo does help to break up your outline more, and orange camoflage would be a suggestion ... im lokin into some orange camo for gun season ..... fisherguy
Re: can deer see hunter orange??? Ditto on what has been said. Deer see muted shades of the colours we see, but can see ultravioulet colours that we cannot. The most visible colour to deer is supposedly blue.
