Hillbilly
Which one do you perfer to use. And do you think Rattle Bags work better than fake antlers. I think rattle bags sound just like bucks fighting. To me fake antlers echo a different tune than rattle bags and real antlers.
Master_Chief
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? My wife made me a rattle bag that is awesome. I cut dowels in half and she sewed up a piece of camo material. Works awesome. She made 3 last night for me to take to Pa.

Shaun_300
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? I like the real thing! The rattle bags do sound good though, might give them a try this year.
Chrud
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? I have real antlers, fake antlers and rattle bags. I use real antlers or rattle bags, either are fine. Fake antlers sound terrible though, in my opinion.
Tominator
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? In my area, rattle bags is just as or more effective than real antlers. Much less cumbersome too.
wtnhunt
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? Have never tried fake antlers. Rattle bags seem to work ok here. Real antlers have worked pretty well for me at calling in some younger bucks, but they are a pain to carry.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Rattle Bags or Fake Antlers? I rattled in 2 small bucks Sunday morning with a bag. I carry those all of the time just because they're small and convenient. But when it comes time for some serious rattling, it's real antlers for me. The bigger the better. I have a set of mule deer antlers that I use most of the time. They're a pain to wag around, but they work. Wouldn't own any of those fake antlers.
