vagobbln
Anybody got an idea why Bass Pro is selling these for $300 below retail (last year's model?)? That seems like an awfully good price! It's supposed to be a pretty good rifle, isn't it? Black w/ SS barrel is $249.99.
AJ
Re: Knight .45 cal Elite I hav a .50 caliber Disc Elite I bought last year. Its a decent gun and once you find a load it likes, it will work just fine. I tried many different things to get one shooting good. It does not like 245 or 295 gr Powerbelts, or the 235 gr Precision Rifle QT40. I have had good success with the 250 gr XTP. I am getting ready to test some 220 gr Dead Center sabots from Precision Rifle. Its a nice gun. The Disc system is a little of a pain to use, but overall, its a good gun. I will be carrying my .50 Disc Elite this Saturday for the opener East of Blue Ridge. I will probably buy a .45 SS DE. That is a great price. lil hunter
Re: Knight .45 cal Elite Bass pro has tons of 'em, and wants to get rid of them before they get loaded with next years model. Just my guess. If I had the money, I'd get one right now without hesitation.
vagobbln
Re: Knight .45 cal Elite I'm so weak. I had actually made the original post asking about the gun for my brother, who is in the market for his first muzzleloader. Well I couldn't stand it - I just ordered one for myself. Man, I love a good deal!
