bowhunt101
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... Honestly I love Bowtech Bows but I do believe this.... Bowtech has been having limb troubles like it or not and I agree the real Kevin would of stepped in by now, BUT after hearing this I may be going to Hoyt now.... VermontHunter
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... LOL.... I'll tell ya who has an honest company and that's ALPINE... I had 3 of the 4 limbs crack on my Alpine Extreme,,, the dealer that sold me the bow told me that I was on my own...... So being the bull headed person that I am I called ALPINE directly myself and explained my problem..... The rep asked me for my model and serial number, and after recieving that info, he immediately said that model had limb issues and they would cover the replacements without any questions or costs to me,, they even went as far to contact a different dealer to have my bow warrantied through, at ALPINES expense..... IMO you can't beat that deal.... So if you BOWTECH shooters start having problems, and BOWTECH leaves you hanging and waiting,, I think you have recieved your answer on what kind of company they intend on running.... GOOD LUCK GUY'S.....

dg
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... If someone is squeeky clean and good at there job, they don't get fired for not picking up the phone. This is like a soap opera. Get real. If anyone on this board knows BOTH sides to the story, please speak up. If not, maybe this thread falls in line with the 3rd sticky.
Leo
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... Most of us know better than to jump to any conclusions based on unverifiable internet Forum "facts". Just because you want to believe something is true doesn't make it so. And just because you don't want to believe it doesn't make it untrue either. Until I read an announcement on Bowtech's webpage that introduces Kevin's replacement I am gonna reserve judgement on this one. If you decide you can't wait. Why not go to the Bowtech Archery Website's FAQ section and ask Techman with an Email whether Kevin Strother (A Vice President and a Founder) was fired or not? BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... [ QUOTE ] WOW. Some people just have such a hard time swallowing a truth pill [/ QUOTE ] Your the one who cant swallow the pill ...I mean common look at all the other ppl who here who say they are going to reserve judgement and dont beleive whats on a forum.... YOu could care less about him loosing his job or how he lost his job as far as I am concerned you started this post to brand bash .... your subject line says it all why would a bowtech lover have to beware ..... one guy doesnt make a bow what a rediculous assumption .... I dont care if you do put in your post you arent brand bashing I am thoroughly convinced you are ... wouldnt be a pill if it didnt have to do with the brand of the bow... it would bea fact ... woopity do so the guy lost his job (maybe and doubtful) who cares why is it even news to anybody but a competitor ROFL you just prove our points The best part about this post is that now more then ever ppl are actually saying why they like other brands of bows... even the faults that other manufactures have had and they stay loyal to the brand ... I'll bet even if this guy lost his job (doubtful) that there is alot more to it then anyone will ever know. An one more thing if it isnt brand bashing and you wanted us just to know that the guy got fired .... why not say "better hurry and get your bowtech" and then state why .... umm if he just got fired they used his design to make these new bows.... so if he is the life and blood of a company you would want to get his design before they come up with an inferior design by maybe someone else... you will not convince me that there wasnt some sort of brand bashing here which kinda irratates me but its all good since I dont care what is ona forum I shoot what feals right to me... I think you should take you mathews and climb back under your rock and quit insisting that we cant swallow a pill when in fact it is u who cant swallow the pill lol you still havent showed anyone here real proof.... and you cant.... when you do then post with fact other wise keep assumptions off the boards IMO. PAbowhunter4life
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... If you think that I started this to bash then that's fine, you are entitles to your opinion, but please, for the record, show me once in this thread where I personally bashed Bowtech???? Again, I simply started it to inform Bowtech shooters and fellow archers. It sounds to me like you are the one who wants to start bashing since you obiouvly have the "My bow is the bestest in the whole wide world" syndrome going and can't see the simple facts stated in front of you. It would obviously hurt your ego too much to have to admit that the brand of bow you use just may have issues and problems. Me, I personally could care two craps less what you or anyone shoots for that matter. If it fits you and you can shoot it good, then that's what counts, not what the name is on the limbs. If the guy got fired and went on to public forums and started bashing Bowtech without any proof to stand behind his claims, Bowtech would sue him and take him for all he is worth. However, Bowtech has to prove what he is saying isn't true in order for it to be slander or defamamtion. If he's willing to stick his neck out like this, something tells me he has the proof to back up his claims and knows Bowtech is helpless. That being said, goo dluck this fall with your Bowtech, hopefully the limbs don't blow up in your face. There, is that what you wanted me to say lol
VtBowhunter
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... I think Y'all need to read the Zero Tolerance policy at the top of the page. PAbowhunter4life
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... How does this violate the zero tolerance rule? No one besides BowTech TurkeyHunter is turning this in to a bashing issue. It's not bashing, it's informing. I posted an article found over on AT that has been confirmed as legit. Whether or not the problems listed are legit i don't know, but I figured that the Bowtech shooters on here might want to read this in case it was true. Something like this should be varified before posting really. It's only fair to the company involved and the person in question.

ZooBear
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... What a shame. Kevin is a great designer and was a major factor in Bowtecs success. I wish Him the best in whatever He does. I think Bowtec will have to look a long time to find someone with His talent. I dont think it matters if He was fired or wanted to leave. I do think He is gone, for whatever reason. I dont shoot a Bowtec bow so I have no dog in this fight, but I have never seen any more problems with Bowtecs than Hoyts or Mathews. I have worked on several of Bowtecs models and found them all to be well built and quality bows. On the bright side, "IF" there were any limb problems with Bowtec bows they will be fixed now. Guest Bowtecher
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... OK, so I have to ask this question: As of today Bowtech still has nothing on their site about it. Other than a post in a forum has anyone seen anything at all about this story from a credible and LEGITIMATE news source? It amazes me that so much effort has been put into this subject with no proof it has actually happened.
VtBowhunter
Re: ATTENTION BOWTECH LOVERS............... One thing you're overlooking......if it is true, Bowtech isn't going to say anything about it........they aren't so dumb as to open themselves to a lawsuit.
