Hillbilly
Re: another from indiana Lately it seems that southern Indiana is starting to warm up again. I haven't seen to much deer movement over the last week or so, but it'll cool down pretty soon and the deer will be back in their normal November movement. huntrman
Re: another from indiana [ QUOTE ] huntrman wich part of indiana are you from [/ QUOTE ] I'm from West Central Indiana, very near the Indiana/Illinois border. Warren County to be exact. I haven't seen much deer movement the past few times out, but hopefully that will change since I moved my stand last night and plan to hunt in the morning. colts1888
Re: another from indiana I hunt in Cass County. I was out on Wed evening and saw the little half racked spike that i have seen 3 times this year. He was about 10 yards away. Then as i was leaving my hunting property i had a nice buck run right in front of me across the gravel drive and into a picked corn field. I didnt think a buck that size existed on the property so it was nice to see him. The wife and I almost hit a buck last evening at dark that was crossing the road. They are active, especially closer to dark. Supposed to cool off this weekend and the winds are going to die down, there will be some brutes killed this weekend i have a feeling. By the way NSCONDUCTOR, grangrats on that 10 point. He is a hog and one to be proud of.

colts1888
Re: another from indiana I just got back in from hunting. The wind was a non factor all evening, it really laid down. It was a cloudy evening too which i like. About 5:30 i heard what sounded like an elephant coming through. It ended up being an angry 7 pointer. Rubbing every tree around, made a few scrapes, and checked a couple mock ones i had made tonight. I didnt shoot him, not what i am looking for. So far i am seeing a lot of younger dudes who just look like they are mad and out showing their stuff. There were 2 does i saw tonight as well and the buck paid no attention to them. Im seeing very little chasing where i am.
