Turkeygirl
Ok, I have been to the dentist enough times this summer. Last night I noticed my one tooth where I had a filling done in the summer, was being sensitive to anything cold or slightly cold. Of course with all the tooth problems I had, I went paranoid, lol. the nightb efore I ate a carmel apple and am thinking mayeb that did it, but I don't feel anyplaces where my filling came out or anything. Mom said maybe it was just from all the chewing. I have been enjoying several months of no sensitive teeth and now this!? I only hope it is short term because I do not want to and do not have the time to go to the dentist again. Ok, I'm done venting, make me feel better. RangerClay
Re: Sensitive teeth... T-Girl, I too have plenty of dental work in my mouth. Always had bad teeth. If the filling is a big one it may be sensitive for quite a while, especially if the filling is close to a nerve. Take two Motrin and relax. Newarcher
Re: Sensitive teeth... Try Sensodyne toothpaste and/or Anbesol. They work. I had a filling replaced and it hurt for months afterwords when I would alternate hot/cold during a meal. It finally quit. New
Reloader
Re: Sensitive teeth... That happened to me once...found a better dentist and he fixed the filling and have never had the problem since. Not saying you should ditch your dentist...but it did work for me...there were other signs I had a bad one though.
archerjg
Re: Sensitive teeth... I have one tooth that has a filling and it is a little sensitive. I have another tooth that is starting to get sensitive and I am going back to the Dentist Monday for that. Good luck getting your teeth to be less sensitive.
