I jsut scored this weekend on my 23rd buck and my first with trad. gear. One of teh most memorable hunts that i have ever had... Not my biggest buck ever btu boy am i proud. First shot looked good but cam out low, so after a decent track job i jumped him at 20 yards and put another in him as he was goign away from me, dropped him in his tracks:)..

thank you. as you can see i was surprised teh first shot didn't put him down quick....he bedded down about 30 ayrds behind my stand, i was prepared to wait it out, but my dad accidentally spooked him and he ran 350yards, bleeding very good teh whole way. i thought i slammed him, but i guess i got him a little low.

Thanks guys... hahahah yeah my buddy had a front row seat, he didn't see teh deer, he just saw me shoot the arrow fly, and the deer run:)..... the first shot was with a simmons landshark 160.. the second was a wensel woodsman 150... the landshark blew though 2 ribs and stuck 7 inches in the ground on the otehr side:)....DSCN0389.jpg

this is my 4 running shot with a bow, and this was the easiest..... it is easier with a longbow, especially if you practice, this is the swamp the buck came out of.... he's not the big one, there are 9 6" diameter trees rubbed all around my stand and 6-7 scrapes within 50 yards of my stand:)
