beagleboy
For a great pasta sauce, put a little oil olive in the bottom of a pot, slice up a few garlic cloves as thin as possible and put them in as well. As the garlic starts to brown a little, put two cans of whole tomatoes with the juices, a little oregano and stir occassionally for about 1 1/2 hours and you will taste the best sauce on your pasta. robk
Re: Any good Pasta Sauce recipes? fresh cut tomoatoes couple of cloves of garlic. fresh is the best. then add some oragano and salt and pepper. then take and add some tomato sauce. this will steep in a crock pot for just about the whole day and you will add some other ingrediants as well. i like mushrooms and some black olives all diced up and some onion not a lot but enoug of fine minced onions and then some parsley. again this is going to steep for the greater part of the day. now for my i like venison or elk or other good fresh killed critters to add as my meat base and someitmes i add two meats. ie: venison and or elk best two for me unless i can get some axis deer. and then use some pork as well and slow cook them over a low fire.again add fresh garlic onion fine minced and then go with good spces including parsley and other little extras to taste once this has steeped on a low heat all day in the crock pot make sure your noddles are good and cooked. tender but not mushy and even i like to mix elbow maccaroni as well if not long noodles this is whati call my all day marina sauce for pasta of any kind actually and very tasty rob k the scret is too cook it so low and slow as to get all the flavors to mix and not hammer each other but be able to slowly mix over the full day of cooking and the meat will pick it up in the last couple of hours and will so well bt he sauce is a good 8 to 10 hour job but well worth it rob k i also have a chilli that is an all day ordeal and i am going to be making some of that pretty soon now lol rob k
