BowtechTurkeyHunter Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 Sounds like your best bet will be the Rut but this is where scouting comes into play ... big bucks dont just happen it usually take a lot o work... now there are exceptions of course... my brothers first deer with a bow was a 208 inch buck.... sure doest happen that way very often you have to put n your time the more time you spend the better your odds. Those does will draw in bucks for ya if you play your cards right. Got to make sure you don't stink up your area too much before the rut. Some doe in oestrous urine around your stand area and a drag rag trail going into your stand location, ups the odds this time of the year too.
