They don't act like they do when you're scouting

We have a lot of heavy pressured hunting areas around here, and deer patterns are absolutely destroyed with the woods stinking of hunters. However, with enough years of experience on a hunting area, you will find escape routes that are used by the deer when the hunters all start infiltrating the woods. Also, pre-hunt scouting may tip you off as to where the deer are most likely to be on opening morning. Prior experience will tell you what direction they are most likely to go. So basically you are patterning the hunters so that you know where they will park, what easy trails they will use, and what the deer are likely to do when they get pushed. Here in the northeast, that strategy works pretty well. However, Florida has completely different terrain and conditions, so those tactics may not work well for you.
