I have used a few different lites. The most useful time I've found for them is when hunting in a blind. The clip-on lite from TruGlo you mention is a nice lite but it will rattle a ton when clipped or velcroed to your bow. You should try to find an alternative that mounts solid.

I was thinking about buying a TRUGLO light that clips on to above your sight. Do you use one and does it help?

I had one of these and it broke on me. Kind of a poor design. I have not replaced it yet...

Re: Do you use a light for your sight?

i have a spot hogg hogg it as well as the light that goes on it. i love the light. with the .019 pins they lose light a touch earlier than with a .029 pin. the only complaint i have about the light is it has a little vibration. this is nothing that isn't fixed with a small limb saver and a little string wax on the threads.

Nope.

For one thing, if I did shoot a Poper, the light would negate its entry if I chose to enter him, and secondly, I can always see my sights well past legal shooting time.

[/ QUOTE ] Isnt it illegal to have a light on your bow for hunting in Ohio, or is that more like a laser?
