Jeramie
Nope, never used one. MY brother tried several different ones and after years and years he is without one. Personally I stick with the tru glow sites and be done with it. If its dark enough youre using a site with those things its probably to dark to shoot. Just my $.02.... VtBowhunter
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? I have an Extreme Sniper and the light that goes with it. I use it when I'm back in some shaded ares, heavy pines, or in my DoubleBull. Yes it helps.
mitrrophybowhunter
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? I have an light for my trohyridge. Think it is called an afterburner. I like it but really hardly use it.

I have a Toxonics that had a light. When I turned it on in low light it seemed to make a halo around my sights.I was almost to bright. Tominator
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? Nope. For one thing, if I did shoot a Poper, the light would negate its entry if I chose to enter him, and secondly, I can always see my sights well past legal shooting time. ksdeerhunter03
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? A light on your sight wont negate your P&Y status, only a laser or a beam that is projected to your animal. A light that illuminates your pins is perfectly legal. unioncountyslayer
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? I had a Keller Pendulum on my last bow that came equipped with a light. The light was red and really didn't give much light. I switched to an Impact Archery single pin sight on my new bow and it is the brightest pin I have ever seen. Plenty enough to shoot until dark. billkay
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? I have used a few different lites. The most useful time I've found for them is when hunting in a blind. The clip-on lite from TruGlo you mention is a nice lite but it will rattle a ton when clipped or velcroed to your bow. You should try to find an alternative that mounts solid.

Guest DrewG
Re: Do you use a light for your sight? i have a spot hogg hogg it as well as the light that goes on it. i love the light. with the .019 pins they lose light a touch earlier than with a .029 pin. the only complaint i have about the light is it has a little vibration. this is nothing that isn't fixed with a small limb saver and a little string wax on the threads.
