I don't think the rut has really started here yet. There is sign all over but there isn't any bucks chasing does yet. I think it has been too warm. The past two mornings it has been in the mid 20's so hopefully that will help. Although this weekend they are calling for mid 60's weather. Go figure. Last weekend was the opener of gun season and from the reports that I have heard they have not done very well. Probably do a little better this weekend but who knows. rockefeller66 Posted November 10, 2005 Report Share Posted November 10, 2005 Re: how ur hunting We hunt using ladder tree stands in funnels, some over looking food sources otherwise we will just go to an area we know will be good and build a little ground blind or stand by a HUGE tree!
