joebobhunter4
when you rattle what do you do... heavy soft? or what? and how often?
Tominator
Re: rattling? Soft at first and wait for reactions. You can always go louder if you want. 90% of my rattling is at deer that I can see. Hardly ever blind rattle for fear of spooking off does. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: rattling? If I'm after a big buck, when I get through rattling I'm sweating profusely and my arms are tired. The trees and bushes around me look like they've been attacked by a herd of crazed beavers, and the ground is ready for sowing a food plot! Yeah, I guess you could say I rattle pretty loud and agressively.

Hillbilly
Re: rattling? Depends on the stage phase. Pre-Rut I'll rattle slow and soft. But the rut I'll rattle hard and even grunt at the same time.
