Taken in Steuben County and that is as close to a location as you'll get out of me. His lease is less than a mile from the farm that I've taken several big deer in the past. Very quickly, the taxidermist rough scored him out at just shy of 150". Andy and I will put a tape to him this weekend. We both had crazy days today and could not get to measuring him up. Andy had to work part of the day and I had to work (OK, went pheasant hunting, work related of course!) I spoke to him about an hour ago and he is still on Cloud 9. This is the most deserving individual I have ever meet to get a deer like this. I'm so happy for him, my season could end today without a buck and I'd be as happy as a kid on Christmas because my buddy took such an amazing animal that is the result of efforts by him, myself, and others around us to let these bucks fully mature.
