Guest Andrea
Anyone watch this show a long time ago???? I used to think it was silly when I was growing up....but now and then when I'm feeling nostalgic.....I really wanna see it again. My Paw Paw used to watch it everytime it came on. And he'd always have a pan of fresh roasted peanuts to eat while we watched it. ".................where oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone??? I searched the world over and thought I found true love. You met another and *ssssbbbbph* you were gone......."
Jeramie
Re: I miss Hee-Haw Lol, yeah thats reaching back. Me and my cousin use to stay the night with our grandparents. We go to stay out as late as we wanted and grandma would always buy a couple of gallons of ice-cream and rent some movies for us. We were there all weekend... :gin: They use to watch Hee-Haw Too. For a long time it was Hokey but in truth now that im an adult (which is a matter of opinion) I miss it. It was funny stuff..

Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: I miss Hee-Haw I'll tell ya' how old I am, I watched the very first episode of it the first time it aired. I guess I was about 9 or 10 at the time. Thought it was absolutely the funniest thing I'd ever seen. And it probably was, since we were hillbillies and got 2 channels on our old black and white TV... Nut
Re: I miss Hee-Haw I used to watch it back then also. I still remember quite a few bits of it and some sayings. Junior Samples car sales was my favorite part. BR549 ....My grandparents first 3 digits of their phone number was 549 so it was great calling them. It was good entertainment for me. Tominator
Re: I miss Hee-Haw I kind of miss variety shows in general. I don't even watch network TV anymore, not much of redeeming value there at all. My poor kids will never get to see slapstick humor and stuff like that. Unfortunately, they're growing up in the reality TV era. IMHO reality TV and all the sex and violence is trash.
