Guest DrewG
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! I have a Summit and I love it. It is like a squirrel on a tree. I have hunted from Loggy Bayou stands as well. They are extremely quiet but i think the Summit is a touch more comfortable.
cjsportsman
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! Well, I decided to go with the Loggy Bayou. It will be here next Wed. I can't wait to try it out, and best of all, those d***heads can't steal it if its not there.

Nosdog2
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! That is definatly a bummer! I love my API climber. Bites the tree and I feel really safe, since I like to hunt in the clouds.
Adjam5
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! Don't worry..the great big deer god will see to it that who ever stole it, will not EVER see a deer when hunting out of it. That bites. Good luck this season. unioncountyslayer
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! Not to sound like a know-it-all, but here goes. You guys are asking for it by not locking your stands on to the tree. I lock all of my permanent stands to the tree, as well as my climber if I am leaving from a morning to an evening hunt. I have 2 ladder stands behind my house on my land, and I lock them on as well. Give Kryptonite cables a try from Lowe's. Havn't had one of those cut off, but have cutter teeth in a few. Just my two cents.

bbarnhart20
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! My buddy had his stolen last yr. by a kid that lived by the property he hunts. The kid had no permission to be on the property and then hung the stand behind the house on the same property he had no permission to be on. The dumb thing is, he cut the cables that hold the platform of the stand to the part that attaches to the tree in order to take it, which was most of the support for the stand!! Trespassing, hunting without permission, stealing, and being an idiot!!! lol hate ppl like that.
cjsportsman
Re: Scumb bag strikes again! Hey UCSlayer, the stand was locked to the tree and the first 5 steps were skyhooks(the removable step that uses lag bolts. I think if they want it bad enough they will go to any length to get it.
