Re: what do u guys think are the best tree stands

I might be somewhat biased here, but I recently picked up a Summit Goliath climber, and I have to say it's one heck of a treestand!! I very tickled with it to put it mildly!!! Love the way it attaches to the tree, and the way it climbs. It's also very comfortable, almost to the point of going to sleep!! Two thumbs up for the Summit Goliath!!

the most comfortable stand I have hunted out of is the tree lounge. However it is a pain to set up and a gun only stand for me (i dont trust the bow adaptor and dont want to be that far from the tree) my other climber is an API grand slam supream, and it is great. I like its seat with the high head rest, but i do like summits cables over api's chains.

After using my Summit Cobra XLS all weekend for the first time and spending 18 1/2 hours actually sitting in it in for 2 days, I would have to say a Summit of some sort. When I got home, I hugged my wife and thanked her for the gift she had bought me last Christmas because once I finally used it, and got used to a climber, they are AWESOME! grin.gif

I have a warren and sweet elite climbing stand. I like the stand but you cant buy them anymore. Cabelas bought the company and they have stopped making them. My brother has a northstar and he loves it. I have climb in it to and it is very nice. The best feature is the seat, it folds to give you more room to stand. great archery stand.

I too have the Summit Broadhead Backpacker and Love it! It is very comfortable, easy to set up, quiet, it folds flat to backpack, weighs 22lbs. With the rapid climb stirrups, its just makes a real easy climb.

Chair is soo comfortable...I have always shot from a sitting position wit enough clearance to move where ever I need to.

Take a good hard look at Summit Stands, I think you'll like 'em too.
