Trajectory Question-160gr 7mm AB

I just got back from the range after sighting in my 7mm Rem Mag for my caribou hunt. It is a 700 BDL topped with a 4-12 Varix-II Leupold 40mm scope. I'll be shooting 160 gr Nosler AccuBonds behind 64 gr or Reloader 22. My rifle LOVES this combo, giving me 1/2" 3 shot groups. grin.gifgrin.gif

Here is my question, my Nosler manual (current addition) does not have the trajectory figures for this round. Nosler tells me the BC of the 160gr 7mm is .531. I am guessing that I am shooting right around 3000fps give or take a few fps.. If I sight my rifle in at 2" high at 100 yards..........what are my estimated drops at 200.....300........and 400 yards? Does anyone here have a ballistics program that could tell me this?

Re: Trajectory Question-160gr 7mm AB

Here ya go:

100 = +2"

150 = +2"

200 = +1"

250 = -1"

275 = -3"

300 = -4.5"

325 = -7"

350 = -9.5"

375 = -12.6"

400 = -16"

A 90 degree 10 mph crosswind will also givedeflections of:

100 = 0.5"

200 = 2.3"

300 = 5"

400 = 9.5"

Thanks AJ.........man was that fast service grin.gif I will print this out & take it with me. I have a 300 meter range at my club but I will be short on time to do lots of shoorting. We leave this Friday for our hunt & I still have to sight in CBs 444 Marlin & my 300 win mag that we are taking along as backup........or incase Bob can't get a bou close enough to use his 444 LOL grin.gif

Here ya go. Dead on at 100 yards. Since that is not the optimum zero for long range, I did not add data after 300 yards.

100 = 0

150 = -1"

200 = -3.5"

225 = -5.5"

250 = -7.5"

275 = -10"

300 = -13"

Wind deflection

100 = 0.7"

200 = 3"

300 = 7"
