markyj987
About 1.5 months ago, I was shooting my bow. The weight's not set that high, and I've had no problem drawing the bow. However, when I drew, I felt a slight pain in my upper arm. For the next few weeks, it hurt a great deal. I thought it was a pulled muscle, but it never really swelled up or was tense, but felt like something deeper inside the tissue. Feeling better, I tried to pull my bow back last night, and it REALLY hurt...I could only pull the string back a few inches. Has this ever happened to any of you? At this point, would you see a doctor? I wonder if I maybe tore something in my arm, but am not sure. Do we have any armchair physicians here? Chrud
Re: muscle strain...or worse? I would say that maybe a trip to the doctor wouldn't be a bad idea. I haven't had a problem like that. How cold was it? 70 pounds always seems like a tougher challenge when it's 20 degrees outside.

I was having no problems at all and on like my 10th shot or something, I had a twinge of pain.
