Update on that 173 score buck from Hershey, PA

Got some more updates on that big buck that was killed in Hershey, PA. It was a legit kill on Hershey Foods grounds. The guy that shot it is a security guard at the Milton Hershey School. This guy apparently knows where all the big buck are at from doing his rounds. Now I guess there are some prerequisites like LifeNRA said about being able to hunt on the property. This guy didn't fit any of them but he did however used to own a farm that now belongs to Hershey. This is how he is able to get on the property to hunt. Apparently he has a guarntee every year to hunt the property.

There was another big buck killed on the grounds from another hunter as well last week. It was a 9 point that weighed 187 lbs dressed weight and I think they estimated it at 235 live. Just thought my fellow Pennsylvanian's would like to know this wink.gif

Thanks but for the first time for a while, I will not be getting home this year for archery which I believe is over nor rifle season. We are going home for X-mas and look to get a few days of late season archery in if it still comes in the day after X-mas like it used too confused.gif Bad year this year with the war going on and other commitments at the unit. Hopefully next year I can get back on track crazy.gif

Update on hershey buck

Just want you boys to know that this was real. I saw it with my own eyes and held the rack with my own hands!

For your information it was a 10 point and scored 178 2/8......get the facts straight before you start blogging.

Oh and by the way, the muffin man lives on Drury Lane.
