Thayer Posted November 15, 2005 Report Share Posted November 15, 2005 My story is not all that flashy, but here goes. I was hunting Sunday night when I took this boy. I hunt NE MO on a new lease, to me! I had passed on a couple of really small eight pointers and numerous other tag fillers until this guy walked into the zone. He was looking for the scent I laid down, doe estrous, and stood at a perfect broadside at fifty yards. I am so stoked about the lease and how the guys have managed the deer. If it would have been bow season, I would have freaked. Not so good at controlling the nerves at the string equipped stick thrower device. But I keep trying!! Hope all your hunting goes well.
