Help with pics

I can't figure out how to get the pics from cd to the photo post. How do you make them smaller?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you need to save them into your computer first, but I'm not possitive. I usually load them right from MY PICTURES. Good luck

You have to first take them from your disc, and put them into a folder on your PC. You already have a folder called "MY PICTURES" that is the best place to store them. You can also make more folders within that folder once you start accumulating lots of pictures.

Once you have them downloaded to your PC, you will want to resize them for posting on the net.

RESIZING Pictures

Go to your picture folder on your PC where the picture is stored.

Right click on the picture

(left click)Open with "Paint"

left Click on "Image"

left Click on "stretch/skew"

When the box comes up, change your height and width from 100% to 40 or 50% and left click on "OK".

Now, if you want to keep one picture of the original size for future developing and one of the downsized for the web, click "Save as"... re-name your picture and choose save as .jpg

When you name your picture, don't leave any spaces. example: - MoosePic2005 or moose_pic_2005

If your not interested in keeping the original format for future developing, go to "FILE" and click on "Save".You can always rename the picture by right clicking on it in your files and left clicking on "rename"
