Missed160
I always felt bad for the people on here who had to deal with tresspassers, but also felt lucky, because I didn't have the problem, TILL YESTERDAY!!!! Got to my stand before light and there is someone sitting in it!!! On private land! I told him to leave & he told me he had permission to hunt there. After a bit of "talking" I convinced him he was in the wrong spot, on MY Stand. He told me the guy who put it up gave him persimisson to hunt there. It is a ladder stand, so at that point I just told him I was going to take it down & I started untieing the support rope. That convinced him to leave. 20 Minutes later here come dad from the neighboring farm to tell me that they can hunt there. They are about 200 yards on teh wrong side of the fence. Needless to say I saw nothing, just sat there and got madder & madder.. I pulled the stand down, so they can't sit there this week, as gun season ends there this weekend. I talked to the farmer & he said the "crew" that hunts the next farm over kind of does what ever they want to. What a bunch of PIGS!! wtnhunt
Re: My Turn I guess No excuses really. He should have known where he was supposed to be. Pretty bold to sit in a stand not knowing whose it is and then argue with someone claiming to be the owner of the stand about it.
archerjg
Re: My Turn I guess That just ain't right. He ruins your hunt and tried to argue that he had permisison. Sounds like the idiots behind us. I hope you don't have to deal with them again. Archerjg
