Bonded Bearclaw Downs Bull

I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who gave advice on curing my copper fouling problem and restoring accuracy. This morning at 0830 I took a nice 6 x 5 Bull Elk at 307 yards with the old Ruger M77 in 3006. The Trophy Bonded Bearclaw ?federal high energy load broke one shoulder and exited the far side, not bad for a hundred year old non magnum cartridge. I get to spend the next two days carrying the meat out, about 1 mile through steep and thick oakbrush.

Thanks,

A Happy BeanMan

As soon as I get the film developed I'll post them or seek someone who can.

It's kind of nice being able to ride the 4 wheeler out of the garage at 0430 12 miles up 2500 vertical of public land, kill an elk, and return home before dark. I did have to walk a couple of rough miles though.
