Guest guess Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 this morning was a crisp 25 degrees in N.Texas,I deer hunted before I went to work,didn't see a thing.I had a short work day so I stopped to make a quick calling at about 2:30.I sat down on the edge of a hill over looking a huge bottom! within 5 minutes of turning on the fx3 I had two cats come in together they hung up on cover at 160 yards.I picked out the one that was most visible and squeezed the trigger on my .243 .the 100 gr Remington core lokt found it's mark and down she went .Unfortunately the other one didn't hang around and wouldn't come back in either! Haven't seen any cats on our lease yet, they'll probably later show up this winter when the doves start hanging out around the feeders. Saw two last year but could never get any shots on them!
