If you want big body deer then you need to go to Canada. I would go to South Texas if you were going rack hunting. From what I have seen on Reatree Outdoors they seem to grow some huge racks down there.

BOY............ummmmm..........some where in the midwest, i do like hunting the Loess Hills in Iowa, we own some land here and it is awesome!!!!!!!! If we could get more land together and maybe more people to go with us on our management then we could very well have one of the best big deer spots in the world!!!!!!!!

Mid west, I hunt in Montana, you have alot of deer there, but really big bucks are rare. I'm talking 160 and up. On a good food year we take some good 140 to mid 150 bucks.

140-150s i would be proud of that caliber of deer

Good point BC180.

But I believe years and years of Kansas denying non-residents to hunt big game undoubtably affected their status in the record books.

Now their borders are open and it's always one of the top choices you hear to pursue big deer. What does that tell you?
