BowJoe
First I would like to ask that if you have never shot a Mathew's Outback or simply want to express your dislike of Mathew's altogether then don't respond. Don't use this post to increase your count. Now Then,... What do you think of the OutBack and what are some things to look for? I need advice as I am purchasing one at my local pro shop. How do I know it's the bow and not the archer? Any tips on tuning or consistant problems you have dealt with? Thank you for your time and thoughts. Chrud
Re: Oppinions on Outback\'s I don't own an Outback, but I've shot one. The Outback is an excellent bow. The only reason I went with the Switchback was that the specs were a little more what I wanted, it was a bit faster and it has the 2005 technology. If the Switchback is smoother than the Outback, it isn't by much. You would be very happy with an Outback.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Oppinions on Outback\'s I almost bought an Outback but I shot some other bows and went with the other but I really like the Outback ... I think Chrud has a point though about the switchback its 2005 technology and its almost identical to the Outback from what I understand both very smooth shooting bows... you wil be very happy with the Outback. tedicast
Re: Oppinions on Outback\'s I am shooting an Outback, and I absolutely love it. It is a short axle to axle bow, but it doesn't shoot like one. It is a lot more forgiving then the switchback in my opinion and very close to as quiet. I shot the Outback, and the Switchback side by side, and I never hesitated to go with the Outback. The only thing I did to the bow was to put Winners Choice string and cable set on it. The only way to find out is to shoot one. If you do, you will love it.
Chrud
Re: Oppinions on Outback\'s The long riser fools a lot of people. The riser on the Outback is longer than any riser on a 36" bow. So, it shoots a lot more like a 36" bow than a 31 1/2" bow.
