hangunnr
Using a piece of tape over the muzzle is OK. The air in the barrel will remove the tape well before the bullet gets there. hangunnr
popgun
Re: Quick ? Since tape sometimes has the tendency to come unglued in weather, I use the cut off fingers from some of the old rubber gloves that I use for deer cleaning. You can also use a condom, but I don't think we can say that word on here. I only do this for muzzleloaders however, because I don't think a little moisture will adversely effect anything in a center-fire. ....popgun
too_pointer
Re: Quick ? I do that quite often with my muzzleloader, but I just use a small balloon. It won't affect anything I also haven't used that with my rifle, but it won't hurt !! too_
robk
Re: Quick ? people will laugh but if you have or can get a condom and a rubber band your in and don't have to worry about getting snow up the barrel or if you can find one of those fingers that the postoffice people use then go there. i used a condom on my m16 and my m-60 in nam and it helped in keeping dirt and water out of it rob k
