tedicast
Re: Backpack recomendations? I like the Camelbac striker, but it is a bit small. I'm leaning towarg getting the camelbak ranger, Same pack basically, but a little bigger. I'm using a Cabelas Elite Scout Pack right now. it is a hydration pack, and I'm happy with the pack except for the fact that it doesn't have and small gadget pockets. Thats what i like about the striker and the ranger.
maytom
Re: Backpack recomendations? I ended up going to a back pak for the very same reasons, more room. The one I got was made by Fieldline, and I picked it up from Gander Mountain. The main fault I have with it is, it isn't waterproof!! So if it starts raining out, everything inside of that pak gets soaked!! I bowhunt out of treestands along with a Buckwing unbrella. That does keep most of the rain off, but I still would love to buy a 100% waterproof back pak!!
LifeNRA
Re: Backpack recomendations? I am very happy with my Cabela's Deluxe Whitetail Pack. It has more than enought room for me. I even sometimes keep a nice size thermos of coffee in there plus a few clothing items. It has side pockets big enough to hold my binos and other gear. Plus its a little cheaper. This year for bowhunting, I got thier Whitetail Fanny Pack. Worked great! I used to carry everthing but the kitchen sink! But as I get older I found myself carrying lighter! Below is the packs I have. Deluxe Whitetail Packs
superguide
Re: Backpack recomendations? I got a Cabella's 2-1 Hybrid pack this year and it's awesome-I have a crappy back thanks to various horses over the years but I can load this baby up and go all day with no trouble-it has an hydration bladder whickh works better than I ever imagined and tons of space. One of the few things I've bought that worked better than expected.
