Tominator
Re: Boots! *need help* Got to go with some sort of tall rubber boot there Josh. Watch the Christmas ads for Dicks, Buckeye Outdoors, and Gander Mountain. You can usually find some LaCrosses for that price range. Look for something with at least 1200 grams of thinsulate. I have some 1200 gram LaCrosses that keep my feet pretty warm in those cold temps.
wtnhunt
Re: Boots! *need help* Cannot go wrong with rocky boots. Think they have a goretex boot with thinsulate in that price range, but thinking it is a 800 gram thinsulate boot. Might check cabelas bargain cave and web exclusives. double_drop
Re: Boots! *need help* I had some rocky 800 gram lynx boots. Just after i had them a year they fell apart and rocky wouldnt do anything about it so now i won't buy any of their boots anymore. bought a pair of cableas 800 gram rubber boots and i love them. keep my feet very warm. tedicast
Re: Boots! *need help* Whichever boot choice you make, do yourself a favor, and pick up a couple packs of Grabber Heat Treat® Foot Warmer Insoles . These things work awesome for keeping your feet warm, especially if you will be sitting in cold weather for an extended period of time. shockwave
Re: Boots! *need help* I picked a pair of $180 lacrosse boots at dunhams for $50 look there, they seem pretty warm so far i haven`t really worn them in real cold weather, also get your boots a size larger so you can either wear an extra pair of wool sox or electric ones
Shaun_300
Re: Boots! *need help* I have a pair of 1000gr Rocky's, I even wear them snowmobiling at -30, they still keep my feet nice and toasty.

TurkeyHunter
Re: Boots! *need help* tedicast it would seem the Grabber Heat Treat® Foot Warmer Insoles would get real hot after awhile if there anything like the hand warmers? Are they very comfortable to walk on even? I love the ideal just wasnt sure how good they actually work keeping your feet warm and not to hot if they worked. I need some new boots myself so Im glad to see this post. Thanks!
