popgun
I changed out the memory card on my trail camera, and when I got home, two pictures of two dogs were still on it. I deleted them and pulled the card from the reader, but when I put the memory card in the reader again, there they are again. I tried deleting them while in the reader…still there I tried moving them to my temporary holding file and they are still on the memory card. It seems that no matter what I do, those two pictures are remaining on the Lexar Compactflash 128 mb memory card. If I cannot delete these two pictures, could this be the reason I am not getting any photos while this particular Compactflash card is installed in the camera? I’m stumped…Any suggestions? The card that is in the camera now is the blank card, that I have retrieved all my photos from so far. I wonder if I can take this other Compactflash card back to Wal-Mart? I still have the package it came in and probably can dig up the receipt, but I bought it in April, and didn't use it until September. ....popgun
billkay
Re: Problem with Compactflash Card Try to re-format instead of deleting.
popgun
Re: Problem with Compactflash Card Next time I go out to check the camera I will try to re-format. I am still learning with this Leaf River and I don't see anything in the instructions about this. I will run through the menu though, and see if there is a re-formating thingy listed. Is this something I must do with the camera and not with my computer? Thanks. ....popgun
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Problem with Compactflash Card Not sure about a reformat with the camera, but I know you can do it with a computer. That's what I would recommend too.
billkay
Re: Problem with Compactflash Card It's always better to reformat in the device that will be using the card. If it's not an option, your PC would be the next best choice.
KTMMIKE
Re: Problem with Compactflash Card You can format with the Leaf Rivers. That should cure your problem. I had a problem with the Lexar brand as well. They have a great customer support line. Do a search for Lexar.
