RangerClay
Got a tube of silicone laying around? Clean the boot well!!!! Put on a gob and swirl it around. Let it set up for 24 hours. Good luck! Ranger
popgun
Re: Fixing Leaky Rubber Boots That should work, but if it don't, get yourself a bicycle tire repair kit and pretend you are fixing a flat. We use to use this method on waders back in the old days. ....popgun
tallone
Re: Fixing Leaky Rubber Boots They make some stuff called shoe goo that is like a thick rubber super glue that I used to fix my rubber boots i would think it would adhere to the rubber better than silicone. I found it at wally world
snapper
Re: Fixing Leaky Rubber Boots I don't remember the name of the stuff we used to use to repair hip waders...but it was like a yellowish colored stick (transparent). You'd heat it with a lighter and more or less melt it over your leak. Sealed it up great...like putting a coating of rubber over top of the hole. Sorry I don't remember the name...but you may see it in a store or something.
