HarvDog
I use the UA coldgear pants and shirt now but haven't tried the hood (see below). Has anyone? Does it do the trick to keep the cold out?
tedicast
Re: UA Coldgear Hood I bought one a few weeks ago. Was out bowhunting on a pretty cold morning. It was in the mid 20's. I had to get out of my stand at 8 am to go to work, and after i climbed down it took the hood off. I was warm the whole time i was in my stans, and started shivering as soon as the cold air hit my neck when I took the hood off. It definately helps keep you warm. Especially some oe with short (shaved) hair, like me.
paul23
Re: UA Coldgear Hood I have one and yes it's a noticeable difference between that and a regular thick spandex mask. I love their products so far.

I used the hood with 4 degree windchill this morning, and a fleece neck gator...worked well.
ruttinbuc
Re: UA Coldgear Hood They don't work too well for people who wear glasses! You have to keep your nose and mouth out of the thing. Those fogging solutions for the glasses do not last forever.
wtnhunt
Re: UA Coldgear Hood Havent ever tried any of the cold gear stuff, but for a warm hood, the thinsulated hood on the cabelas dry plus parka I have has been great.
