I will take the wife to work and then my 2 oldest sons and I will go out till about 10 am. The youngest will be watching the food. Then pick up the wife at 1:30. Eat. Then we will go out again.

Pretty much the same for Friday and Saturday.

Sunday ....a rest

Monday is 1st day of gun so we will be out again.

On Thanksgiving, we always meet up with my Dad's family and make some drives. It's a blast listening to all the BS he and my uncles come up with.

Then, we got to our cousin's cross country ski resort for turkey dinner before heading out to sit for the afternoon. It's a great day.

[ QUOTE ]

I always do, but especially this week, for all those who follow the moon guides you aready know that all this week the deer are supposed to be moving based on the moon phases.

I take that back, since I shot the doe tonight I'm gonna let it sit tomorrow morning. I'll sleep in and let the area cool down, as tonight was the first shot taken with a firearm on the land all season and only the second deer taken off the land this season. Gotta keep fooling em into that false sense of security. grin.gif

Wind was blowing pretty good this morning. The son and I tried to intercept a couple of does but as we sat there we ended up watching them go up the hill away from us. All together we ended up seeing 5 does this morning. None within bow range. But it was fun and it felt good.
