camelNS
Re: Pat Reeve\'s Illinois giant [ QUOTE ] 12' fence around 23,000 ac......that is pretty much free ranging isn't it? [/ QUOTE ] So does this mean that the buck was harvested inside a fence?Controled in a way I would think. Its a big piece of land but that deer could be watched and grown for years till now and then harvested on camera easily.Great deer no doubt about it!!!I think most states have more than enough deer for a fella to kill a quality deer without having to hunt a fenced enclosure. He'll make some good bucks off that fella. Chrud
Re: Pat Reeve\'s Illinois giant [ QUOTE ] So does this mean that the buck was harvested inside a fence? [/ QUOTE ] No, just folks who assume it is, because Pat has his own hunting show. And, I'm sure everybody knows what happens when someone assumes something. 6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: Pat Reeve\'s Illinois giant [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Outfitter that I was hunting with when I killed the 203" Typical is Sugar Creek Outfitters located in Schuyler County, Illinois. Their operation is first class and they have several farms spread around the county to hunt. If you want to book a hunt I strongly urge you to do so before the show hits the air. Contact Chad John (Manager) at (309)257-2590 Thanks, Pat. [/ QUOTE ] There is the Outfitter, the phone number and who to contact. Why don't you give them a call and ask them what kind of operation they have. Then, report back to us with your findings. I can't wait to see the video of this hunt either! [/ QUOTE ] oh see ya ''rbfree1''...i think i might add just one more monster from schuler county just taken recently...i can show more but i think this dandy buck will say it all [image][/image] now if that doesnt say it all then tell me i will show you some more ... Chrud
Re: Pat Reeve\'s Illinois giant I got my "2005 Season" North American Whitetail DVD set in the mail today. If you like, I can take a picture of the back of the case where it says "100% wild whitetails". Also, I like what Greg Miller said on the opening show about no fences or pens. Chrud
Re: Pat Reeve\'s Illinois giant I believe I counted two or three episodes on the "2005 Season" DVD where Greg, Stan and Pat all emphasize that these whitetails are free ranging and 100% wild, no fences or pens. Gotta love that!
