Today in the paper it said that the Mets landed Carlos Delgado. Just saw on tv that the Phillies are traiding Jim Thome to the White Sox for Aaron something??? Was hoping the Dodgers were in the lead on that one. Oh well, the Dec. 3 meetings are around the corner so trades should really start heating up now. I guess it does surprise me that they moved Beckett before Burnett though. The Thome for Rowand deal doesnt make any sense for the White Sox if you ask me. I dont know why they would trade a young center fielder on a World Series team for a guy that is way over the hill and pretty much washed up.
