Re: Sale on Rem 700 ADL -- Is it Worth It???

I have two Remington 700s, but they are the BDL models. I love them both! One is in a .22-250 with the heavy barrel, topped with a 6-18x Redfield scope. That thing can literally drive nails! cool.gif My other one is chambered in .300 Win Mag, topped with a 3-9x Bushnell Banner. It is also a very accurate gun! I'd say you'll love the Remington 700. They are slick shooting rifles and very accurate, and the .243 is a great caliber. The price sounds like one heck of a deal to me! I'd definetly get it. grin.gif

I didn't think they made the ADL's any more...changed to the CDL. Could be wrong...but I'm thinking its a left over model that they are cutting the price to get rid of. Either way, still a good price for a good gun. If I'm not mistaken...the ADL doesn't have a bottom hinged drop plate to unload the shells...the CDL does.

Buy it...its still a good gun.

That's a great price for a Rem 700. You can't get the action alone for that price. I say jump on it.

The ADL is a discontinued model. Remington has dropped the ADL line of guns. All of their guns now have hinged floorplates.

ADL = A Grade Deluxe = blind magazine, plain walnut or synthetic stock

BDL = B Grade Deluxe = hinged floorplate, hooded front sight, nicer walnut stock with high gloss finish, or synthetic stock

CDL = Classic Deluxe = same as BDL with different stock, no open sights
