I am getting my application stuff all ready and need to figure out what zone I want to apply for.... Any info would be greatly apprecaited.... Find a large place of public and apply there, You can always ask for permission form farmers. Alot of farms will let you turkey hunt it's not like asking to deer hunt.I have good luck around May 1st I'd try to pick that time if I were you. I turkey hunt in 41, it has only existed a few years. The hunting won't be easy in 6 by any means, but it will be easier than the northcentral part of the state. Theres quite a bit of public land here and its loaded with turkeys. But its a longer drive from MN for sure. I put in for a permit and hope to get lucky.
