Shawn Posted November 25, 2005 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 well i dont know if you guys remember me posting, but on 0ct 26 i was able to shoot an awesome 9 pointer with my bow. the picture of him is my avatar. Today though i was blessed by getting another great buck. a typical 8 pointer. well hes actually a 7 1/2 cuz he broke his brow tine but to me he'll be an 8. you could tell he was a scrapper, broken brow tine, broken tip on left antler and deep scratches on his rack. i shot him with a remington 1100 semi-auto 12 gauge at 65 yards, with open sights. While gutting him i noticed i took off the top of his heart with that 1 oz piece of lead. he went 50 yards and died. thanks for looking and i cant wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
