I have been wanting to get just one little tattoo that represents something that matters a lot to me... I would like to hear honest opinions on this picture... It is a mallard curly-Q feather... and for the people that know me waterfowl is my favorite thing to hunt.... So what do yall think? It is such a major decision to put it on your body for life... I like the pic and think it would make a cool tatoo, but you are the one that has to LOVE it since you will be stuck with it if you change your mind. My Girlfriend has a tat of a butterfly in the middle of her back, about level with the hips. Yeah that would make a nice tattoo, go for it. Certainly you can do better than that, IMO. I think a tat is nice (on a woman) on the lower back (although the wife would never get one ) or in the front. Just make sure before you do it, that's the pic you want. I would explore more options though as far as pics go, thats just my opinion. I wanted a tat when I was younger...but never had the money to do it and now my wife wouldn't let me. It sounds like you have put a lot of thought into it. Put it in an non-obtrusive place...ie small of your back where professional clothes cover it but party clothes may not...I say go for it...just be sure you pick the exact picture you want... and get some references on the skill of the artist and make sure the shop is properly sanitary and inspected...I think I'm done with the and's now... I have absolutely no problem with them on other people, just not me. I always ask myself the question, would I want that thing on my body when I'm 75 years old?? My Wife Has One, & So Do I. I agree about the Location though. Have it so you can dress to show it, or Dress not to show it. Both of are's are consealed that way. That looks like a cool tatty. I made a big decision a couple year ago about a tattoo I got on my forearm, where its very visible. I decided its something that means alot to me, I don't mind having ink in my skin for the rest of my life, and if its going to be a very visible tattoo, I wanted it to be this: Took me a couple months to see if I still liked the idea, I waited awhile.
