dogdoc
Re: Ridges and Red Clover? i've actually had good luck planting red clover in areas with little sunlight. One area was just a little opening in the timber that probably received less than 2 hours of sunlight. I just got a garden rake and cleaned up all the debris (sticks and leaves) then sprayed the area with round up. One week later I just broadcasted the red clover on the ground and was surprised with the amount of seed that germinated and how well it did. todd

The sunlight will be more than 2 hours, and I'm sure the soil test will come thru. Just didn't know if it would come up because of the terrian. Ravin R10 man
Re: Ridges and Red Clover? be careful it is not a sand ridge, or it may be to dry for clover, Red Clover does a bit better in moist conditions
Born2Hunt
Re: Ridges and Red Clover? In my experience the deer walked over red clover, alfalfa and white ladino clover to get to my Imperial Whitetail clover. This product grows with 4 to 6 hours of light a day very well but it must have moist soil as DOGDOC stated.
