Maybe yes, maybe no. It depends a lot on the gun. You may be off an inch or so, but as long as you are keeping your shots under 200 yards, you are probably ok.

I would recommend shooting a group with one of each and seeing how it does. You may find out they are similar, and you may find out they are way off. I shot some 150 gr Hornady SST and some 150 gr Hornady spire points in my .308 Win with the same load. The SST bullets shot 4" high and 1" left compared to the spire points. I was suprised. My 300 Weatherby shoots Remington 180 gr Extended Range factory loads the same POI as my 180 gr Scirocco handloads.

You won't know till you try them.

I would of coarse target test ANY shell I planned to hunt with. I was just wondering if it made much of a difference.

I have about 3 1/2 boxes of different 180g and a 1/2 box of 165 Ballistic tips.

I plan to buy a box of 150s and see what the gun likes.
