Re: Tradition Muzzleloaders??? Any users here?

I have a Traditions Buck Hunter Pro in stainless and camo stock. I've had it for probably 6 or 7 years. It's been a good gun. It was like a $300 gun and I picked it up for around $150 new from Bass Pro on a close out special.

I can't complain for the money. It's killed a few deer.

If I were a more serious gun hunter, I'd probably own something different, but it does the job on the few occasions that I take it out.

I just bought the pro also, I only shot it four times (ran out time) trying to sight it in but it feels great and cleans super easy. Borntohunt what weight of bullit are you shooting and what primers are you using? I tried the federals but I couldn't get the gun to close so I bought some remingtons that fit better. I have four different bullets I'm planning on trying Friday. T shocks, dead center's qt 40 and another I can't think of right now.

Hey tallone Just happen to know Borntohunt is busy. He's using 260 grain Winchester Partition Gold Sabots 3 Triple seven pellets and Winchester 209 primers. I have the same gun. use only 2 pellets with the same bullet and primer and have had great results.
