Guest lilcrackshot
I was thinking of taking a trip up to Maine to hunt deer and was wondering if anybody has experience with Hal Blood and Cedar Ridge Outfitters. njbowhntr
Re: Cedar Ridge Outfitters I have hunted Maine many times in the past, but never with them. I have done my hunting up by Shin Pond. We use a small outfitter up there. He is located about 25 miles out a logging road. I have yet to kill a Maine buck, but have past on a few smaller bucks while there. The best time of year to hunt in the week before Thanksgiving, that is their Rut. I saw more day in the middle of the day than any other time. Sit long and you will do very well in Maine. But take into account one thing, if you even see a deer in Maine you had a good week. JimT
Re: Cedar Ridge Outfitters If he is not in jail still then he could guide you..lol. Actually..I heard he got busted guiding on posted land. Thats a big no no, and he got into alot of trouble over it. However, before that I heard good things about his outfit, and enjoyed his book.
