double_drop
Anyones else have them. Between my buddy and I we have 5 dozen full bodies and three dozen shells of just greenhead gear with flocked heads. Look awesome in the field. We just bought another dozen and a half this past weekend at cabelas 1/2 dozen for 100 bucks. Work very well. Have shot 77 geese so far this past fall over them. dogdoc
Re: greenhead gear full bodies i was actually just looking at some of those here at a local outdoor shop--I think they were running about 150 bucks for a box of 6. Sweet lookin' decoys for sure.

DU_man_84
Re: greenhead gear full bodies the decoys look awesome but my buddies i hunt and myself have them and after a season the heads get beat up real bad, and we called avery about them and complained and they told us the decoys they make are for looks mainly they cant take a beating and they are made for the hunter who takes care of his decoys, but i know im always on the move while hunting and decoys getting put in the boat get beat up a little from rubbing, but they do look good and you can replace the flocked heads for 15 bucks a dozen, but i sure wish they lasted longer
huntinsonovagun
Re: greenhead gear full bodies GHG makes some sweet-looking dekes for sure!! Heck, I'm impressed with their "hot buy" mallards!!! Probably the best "low-end" decoys on the market!!! VERY reasonably priced!! That goose hunting is too rich for my broke college butt though... StillLearnin
Re: greenhead gear full bodies I totally agree, I have the GHG FB, oversized shells w/ motion stakes and the hot buy mallards. Although I did have a head on one FB break this year and they have only had 1 year of use, but that could have been my fault. Personally I like the shells with motion stakes. Alot more movement and since I don't drive on the fields it makes them easier to get to where I need to be. I made a sled that can hold my 3 dozen dekes, gun, layout blind, and when I get to the field I set the blind up on the sled and it is hidden. And it is soo easy to drag you don't even notice. huntn4bucks
Re: greenhead gear full bodies I have several dozen GHG duck and goose decoys and so far the paint seems to be holding up okay. We do 90-95% of our waterfowl hunting from a boat or islands that have to be reached by boat and the only complaint I have about the GHG decoys is the weight. Other than that...I like the dekes. Covehnter
Re: greenhead gear full bodies We've got alot of GHG duck decoys and have no complaints after i bang the keels in once they make it off the UPS truck. . . . dang thats a pain! I dont own any of the full body geese but i hunted the other day with a couple guys that have about a dozen and those have to be the most realistic decoys produced! The high looker at 25 yards is simply amazing!
waterfowler_gal
Re: greenhead gear full bodies They decoy pattern from GHG are actually hand carved to be realistic. They are well worth the investment and I would never buy anything else.... They always do the job! There are other competitors in the market but they are #1 in my book! Covehnter
Re: greenhead gear full bodies I plan on adding some to our field spread over the summer. To busy putting gas in the truck and boat and buying shells/supplies to invest right now. Actually getting diver dekes longlined and anchors/safety equipment bought up for the layout which is taking its sweet time in getting here is also hurtin the pocket! double_drop
Re: greenhead gear full bodies I bought a dozen of the hot buy mallards and didn't like them because the paint chipped real fast on them so i repainted them into diver decoys and now they work very well.
