Guest Andrea
Last weekend we put a pork roast in the ground. Ever tried this????? We seasoned it, put onions on it, sealed it in a cooking bag, wrapped it in aluminum foil about 10 different times and put it in the ground next to the campfire and covered it with the hot coals. It cooked for about 8-10 hours then we dug it up, being really careful no to tear the foil. I gotta tell ya, that was the most tender pork roast I had ever eaten!!!!!!! The meat just fell apart when we unwrapped it.
JimT
Re: Pig in the ground....... I had this in Hawaii...Except they cooked the whole pig. Very good for sure. Beans can be cooked the same way...Awsome!
