If it broke after the shot (i.e. run into a tree or fall off a cliff) I would repair it. [/ QUOTE ] i agree with this [/ QUOTE ] Same here haha. wtnhunt
Re: Under What Circumstances? Guess it really would depend Chris. How much tine length is lost for the broken tine? Was it broken when the deer fell or was it broken from fighting? If it were a considerable amount of length on a really typical deer I would think I would likely have it fixed regardless. If the deer was sporting the point when I shot him, I would probably be inclined to have the taxidermist repair it.
NY_Bowhunter14
Re: Under What Circumstances? depends, like Texan_Til_I_Die said, if it broke after the shot i would repair it, but if it was broken before the shot i wouldnt
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Under What Circumstances? I would leave it alone, its how it was when I shot him. Now if it broke after the shot I would repair it.
superguide
Re: Under What Circumstances? There's a buck roaming north of me has one main beam broke right off-but the side he has would score 80 inches easy-it saved his life already lol. AJ
Re: Under What Circumstances? I just saw the antlers off and add them to the box. I don't get them repaired.
