Tominator
Re: aerial photo Yeah, I use them a little. Terraserver is pretty cool. Google earth is another good one, however I get a lot of blurry pics with google earth.

bbarnhart20
Re: aerial photo Aerial photos are good to find funnels and good changes of elevation without tromping around your hunting site... my uncle uses them and when he finds a funnel or a spot he thinks would be good , he sets up his trail camera in the afternoon to try and not pressure the deer very much. StillLearnin
Re: aerial photo I use arial photos for my family, I mark all my stands, and trails to them, with a big red dot just incase I do use alot of maps though mostly for waterfowl hunting but they are mosty for locating birds and so I can find my way back to certain spots

huntinsonovagun
Re: aerial photo Hey todd...do you have a stand at the point of that V-shaped plot?? If not, you need one there about 25 yards inside the woods!! Killer spot... I actually see a couple other "inside corners" that might be worth checking out. Nice looking land. muggs
Re: aerial photo BTW buckstew- online tax maps or "GIS" is an awesome source for aerial photos. Plus, they mark property borders and a lot more. You can find this type of info on the Auditor's webstie of what ever county you hunt.
