dogdoc
I took Belle on her first hunt. She did great--unfortunately the ducks didn't cooperate too well. However she did get to do her first "real" retrieve. I shot a ringneck. I sent her for the duck and she actually stopped at the furthest decoy and wanted to pick it up---I "no" her and she turns back to me and I then give her a right back--she followed the command and it lead her straight to the duck. About a 40 yard retrieve. I was a proud papa getting ready on a cold November morning: todd

buckee
Re: Her first hunt.... That's great Todd. I used to throw dummys for a friend of mine in competition. It sure is fun watching a good dog work.
